Murud Janjira Fort
Murud Janjira Fort is one of the most well-known forts in Maharashtra and is a major tourist attraction in Kashid. The history of the fort dates back to the 15th Century when the area was fortified under the rule of Malik Amber, the ruler of Ahmednagar. It is around 21 Kilometres from Kashid Beach.
Since it is an offshore fort, you will need a boat to reach there. The boat leaves from the Rajapuri jetty and charges ₹20 - 50 depending on the size of the group and season. The boatman will give you 1 - 2 hours to explore the fort.
Korlai Fort
